MPCCC’s mission is to advance cancer care by integrating our network of partners in discovery, translational and clinical research, develop accessible platforms in order to support future patient-centred research and clinical care; and advance clinical expertise and experience through inter disciplinary collaborations. Current Programs and Future Opportunities within the MPCCC Precision Cancer Plan have been categorised under five main themes.
The MPCCC is a strategic alliance of health service and research organisations working in partnership to improve outcomes for people affected by cancer. Collectively, MPCCC partners care for over 19,000 cancer patients across Victoria each year, with around 80,000 episodes of care.
The MPCCC works collaboratively with state-wide partners to support a co-ordinated Victorian approach to shared priorities and is actively expanding its collaborative efforts with other National and International Oncology groups to establish well-connected and well-informed networks.
